Within the context of Edaw's overall Waterside Masterplan and the adjacent Southside and Eastside proposals, we are developing the Masterplan for two new neighbourhoods - Meadow Lane and the Waterside Centre. The area is currently low grade industrial land occupying the prime waterfront east of Trent Bridge. The ISIS brief is to create a residential driven mixed-use development that opens up the river frontage and connects strongly to the city infrastructure. High quality public realm and the opportunity for river gateways, and activity on the river are proposed. Consultation on the project is broad ranging. Whilst the development generates around 2500 new homes in a variety of typologies, the provision of family homes and a strategy for the retention and sensible relocation of employment uses is paramount.
