Europe's largest new-build shopping and leisure destination set amongst the white cliffs and lagoons of a 96 hectare exhausted chalk quarry in Kent, "The garden of England," produces 1.5 million sq ft of retail space and 125,000 sq.ft of Leisure. Completed in Spring 1999, anchors are John Lewis, Marks and Spencer and House of Fraser department stores. On the M25/A2(M) Channel Tunnel road link, Bluewater anticipates 80,000 visitors per day and will offer parking for 13,000 cars.
