Located to the rear of an existing properties previously occupied by three garages, Bellis Architects worked closely with planning consultants and gained full planning approval for a new development creating 2 x two bedroom maisonettes each with private gardens and a two bedroom apartment to the top floor. The site constraints drove the scheme design resulting in a distinct façade solution with angled fin walls to focus the views directly away from the neighbouring gardens. The entrance from the street is intensively landscaped to create a dramatic approach to the building. The building is of a modern design with an integral low energy strategy.
