BCHN were engaged to design and deliver the restoration of this Grade II listed Victorian municipal park. The project was carried out in partnership with Plincke Landscapes Ltd, who designed the associated landscaping works. Phase 1 of the project included the repair of perimeter walls,15 gates and gate posts, and the Hammersley Fountain – derelict since early in C20. Phase 2 of the project included the restoration of the Main Pavilion, Bandstand, Canal Bridge and the Boathouse. Minor works to the Gatehouses and North Pavilion were also carried out.
