The property is the end third of a large detached residential property which was in a poor state of repair. The property is situated within the Green Belt and had previously been extended. To maximise the potential, we utilised the Permitted Development rights and were able to increase the size of the property via a two-storey rear extension and a single-storey side extension. These were confirmed via a Certificate of Lawful Development application. The client has initially chosen to focus on developing and refurbishing the existing house. This we have done through opening up around the entrance hall to create a double height space with a new purpose-made staircase.
