The existing Power Road Studios comprises a successful hub for a wide range of businesses. This project aims to enhance the business space that is available by improving the quality of the existing accommodation and adding to the size and range of space available. An extensive refurbishment of the 1930’s Studio 1 building will move the main entrance the rear car park to Power Road, create high quality contemporary office space, new core with WCs and two lifts and add a single storey roof extension. The existing Studio 5 is to be replaced by a new high quality, 5 storey brick office building. General improvements to the site will improve access and visibility and will include new hard and soft landscaping, new external lighting and wayfinding, plus new facilities for cycle storage and changing. This will be a phased redevelopment over 3 years.
