Our exciting commercial project at Sheppy’s Cider involved an extension to the existing shop, the creation of a new restaurant area and associated kitchen and the introduction of new circulation routes. The overriding principle behind the proposals was to sensitively convert the existing building in order to accommodate the currently expanding business, thereby ensuring the character and essence of the building is retained. The existing shop has been refurbished and expanded to include a new tasting counter and display area. There is also a new spacious and bright cafe, a large restaurant with additional mezzanine level and a lively bar connected to a unique tasting room housed in a converted old cider vat. Working closely with our client the project enhances the existing values of the well established Sheppy’s Cider brand; ensuring the history, personal values and quality of their product is evident throughout the building.
