Existing church and hall built 1930s and 1950s respectively lacked modern facilities particularly in relation to disabled access and the general facilities were not suitable for current needs. Axis Architecture designed a dual level extension that links the church and the hall that is at a higher level on the sloping site. The new extension contains a new function room; a Parish Office; new toilets including disabled and ambulent toilet facilities; a large reception space and a disabled access platform lift. Other works included the general refurbishment of the hall together with a new kitchen; a new coffee bar in the church and a disabled access ramp to the main church entrance.
