We were appointed to renovate a redundant barn for a family with big aspirations. The client brief was to retain the character and features of the original barn, whilst opening up the living accommodation to the impressive views across the open countryside. Barn conversions are becoming increasingly rare. Frequently these buildings are Listed and will rely upon our experience of the traditional building techniques to ensure the conversion is carried out in a practical and cost effective way whilst protecting the historic fabric.
