An industrial site within the green belt provides the setting for this signature showroom for a family run wood flooring business. Built onto the end of the existing warehouse the brief was to create a building that would epitomise the brand and enable the business to grow in its existing location. A double height glass fronted space forms the centre piece of the development and creates an exciting welcome to the showroom. The use of landscaping softens the entrance to the site and forges strong connections to the surroundings. As well as the versatile showroom space which enables a large offering of flooring products to be displayed and illustrated flexibly the accommodation also provides office and meeting spaces, rest areas and a gym. *Whilst employed by BBF Fielding Architecture.
