Following the refusal of planning permission for three units an alternative scheme proposing two detached properties was developed to replace the existing chalet style property. As with the first scheme the accommodation proposed is generous with open plan living spaces and en-suite bedrooms. The opportunity is taken to bring natural light into the plan from above, the use of vaulted ceiling creates some exciting spaces. Once again, the use of materials and form seeks to create a transition from urbanisation to the adjacent countryside. Works began on site in Autumn 2019 and are due to complete in spring 2020.
