Unicorn House - Ecotricity building in Stroud The existing building had been compartmented by the previous owner as a response to their hierarchical structure. A shop front and reception with public access had already been established when it was owned by a building society. Our brief was to establish this local company as a presence in the town and on the High Street and to provide office space for 100 people in an open plan arrangement on two floors. Meeting rooms and individual offices are enclosed by glass partitions. The basement contains a kitchen and conference room, the main server room and a shower and toilet facilities for cyclists. A cycle store and charging units for electric cars are provided in the rear car park.
