The Museum in the Park’s Walled Garden project sought to reclaim the garden which for fifty years was allowed to fall derelict. Planning approvals for an intervention on the site sought to create a multi-use pavilion, primarily for local schools, with a vibrant garden to provide outdoor learning space connected with the existing museum and new pavilion. The fully accessible spaces are sustainable in design and construction and have enhanced the future of the Museum, quickly becoming a dynamic addition to the services the Museum offers.
