The project brief was to extend the dwelling with a contemporary addition with lots of glass to make best use of available light in a plot surrounded with large trees. The design brings the outside in, and blurs the threshold between garden space and living space. The use of natural cladding materials reflects the surroundings to establish the design in its environment.
