‘ ASG Architects Ltd - 2 New Executive Houses – Kynnersley, Telford, Shropshire’ Set in the rural village of Kynnersley, Shropshire adjacent to ‘Kynnersley Manor’, Planning approval was gained for these 2no. Executive Houses in October 2014. The land, belonged to the owner of ‘Kynnersley Manor’ which housed a large dilapidated metal clad Barn. The 2no. New Executive Style Dwellings were designed to sit sensitively and comfortably alongside ‘Kynnersley Manor’, whilst enhancing the rural streetscene and retaining privacy for the dwellings. Fantastic views across the rural landscape are achieved for these two dwellings. The dwellings incorporate design characteristics and details which reflect the locally renowned ‘Duke of Sutherland’ style properties, with :- Projecting Pitched Gabled Roofs, Dormer Windows with Lowered Roof & Eaves Lines, Brickwork and Fenestration Detailing. This fantastic rural setting rarely enables Planning Approval for ‘New Build properties’, however close liaison with the Client and Local Authority, enabled precise timing of the application and the successful Planning Approval. The high quality build by ‘Home Innovations Ltd’ Shropshire is considered a great success by local residents, and a high quality subtle addition to the rural village of Kynnersley. Building Regulations and working drawings were also provided to the client.
