We designed a major extension to a 1930's Norfolk Reed thatched detached house in a prominent residential road in Chatham, Medway. The main body of the house has been extended in matching thatched construction to provide an additional master bedroom and ensuite shower room above a new integrated double garage and utility space, whilst the kitchen and dining areas have been extended into an oak-framed flat roofed extension, the roof providing a generous balcony to the new master bedroom. An oak-framed conservatory and new external sun deck completes the programme of work.
