The client wanted to Downsize, and still stay in the same area. Initially we had looked at a new build, but we then looked at the existing barn, and working carefully with the council, we won planning approval for converted the barn, and then doubling the size of the building. We designed a contemporary home, based around a courtyard, with windows at captured the views and allowed proper indoor/outdoor living.
