An unprepossesing surgery on a small site by a listed church in a conservation area was improved and extended for an expanding general practice. All the facilities were improved and added to, and the image of the practice upgraded. The consruction works were carried out with the doctors and their patients "in occupation", without the loss of any consulting time. The surgery is a modern insertion in a conservation area which now projects a modern image whilst respecting its historic location and listed neighbours. The patients and the staff of the practice are now much better provided for.
