The project involved the demolition of an existing timber and glazed extension and logistically significant structural alterations to the existing building. The scheme involved the erection of a new double height glazed extension and the re-routing of an existing fire escape route for the main school. This allowed the staff-room facilities to be increased threefold. The new double height extension incorporates a ground floor for relaxing including a kitchen and soft furnishings, a new mezzanine level accomodatign work stations for marking with secure staff storage and a new access for parents through to other parts of the school.
