arch/FORM were approached to provide a design for a new single storey rear extension to a terraced home in Loughborough. Other elements of the project included a new front porch, driveway and cross-over, utility room and internal re-organisation to maximise the use of the existing space within the ground floor. We opted for a buff brick to compliment the existing white painted brickwork of the home. An inset brick soldier course and inset brick panels below the windows were chosen to provide relief and detailing.
