£1.2 million, remodelling of a single dwelling for a private client; Instructed from the outset as a full service, our involvement with this scheme began to rationalise an unappealing 70’s dwelling to create a substantial family home. Planning approval along with successful applications for Permitted Development has resulted in the illustrated scheme. This project was tendered Sept /October 09, and is expected to begin on site before the end of 2009. The scope of this project has presented many technical challenges; site de watering, waterproof concrete basement, ground source heat pumps with bore holes and unsupportive planners to name but a few.
