Full refurbishment and extension of student hostel. The original building was designed by David Roberts and completed in 1958, providing 40 rooms, 2 flats and 2 dining areas with kitchens. All rooms will be fitted with en-suite shower rooms, and the refurbishment will include 2 fully compliant rooms for disabled residents, together with improved access. One dining space was enlarged, with improved kitchen, the other converted into 3 interlinked meeting rooms. A gym for students was added in the undercroft.
