Alteration to existing property, Within a Conservation Area
Located within a conservation area, with additional article 4 directive restrictions, the project involves the internal refurbishment and extension to a semi-detached Victorian property. The extension creates a contemporary addition that complements the grandeur of the house, and reconfigures the ground floor to provide an open plan living area for the family. In addition the project involves the reconfiguration of the basement conversion and two storey extension containing an en-suite bathroom. Services included a measured survey of the house and grounds, followed by a production of concept design which was presented to the client and signed off. Due to the status of the house within the conservation area, we worked closely with a heritage consulate before submitting a pre-planning application enquiry. If the feedback is positive we will submit a full planning application, produce technical drawings and manage the construction on site.
