The project involved the extension and refurbishment of a small house in South Clapham. The clients brief was to extend the existing rear kitchen space into the side return in order to create a larger open-plan kitchen dining area. At roof level the house was to be extended to provide an additional bedroom and en-suite. We also took the opportunity to improve the energy efficiency of the house; upgrading windows and heating systems, and adding external insulation to the side and rear facades.
