In this project, a 1920s house was enhanced by a contemporary extension, creating an inside/outside space linking the house with the garden. The new extension: 1. Provided improved living space for the parents of two growing boys 2. Allowed entertaining (without needing to dine in the Study) 3. Provided a ground floor WC and shower room for family and guest use 4. Provided a separate utility space 5. Closely linked the garden to the house 6. Provided easy accessible, secure storage for bikes, scooters, etc
