About the practice

People-centric design means listening to what you want and helping you understand what’s possible. An empathetically designed space can transform your quality of individual, family or communal life. I seek to achieve this, as well as imaginative and appealing visual impact. A new building or significant extension is an exciting prospect and a major event in your life, but the reality of making it happen can be slow and complex. That’s why I offer an end-to-end design and management service. I aim to maintain the thrill and wow factor of creating your ideal living space, while offering expert advice and smoothing the practicalities of the process… right up to the moment when you walk through the door of your new or renewed building. Based in the Thames Valley, Anne Owen Architects is a busy and well-established domestic practice. We work mainly on large, individual residential renovations and extensions and new builds for private clients. In the last 17 years, we have worked on projects in the Berkshire and South Oxfordshire region, including Wokingham, Reading, Henley, Marlow, Finchampstead, Maidenhead, Shiplake, Wargrave, Twyford, Sonning and Woodley.
