Listed Building - Grade II, Sited in AONB, Alteration to existing property
Anne Netherwood Chartered Architect
11 Cottage Fields , St. Martins , OSWESTRY , Shropshire , SY11 3EJ
I was appointed to advise on remedial work, the feasibility of internal re-ordering, and energy efficiency measures. I suggested that the client should appoint a colleague of mine who has recently set up his own practice in Wrexham, Arkify, which they have done. I made a building condition survey, and Arkify measured the building and drew up as-existing plans which I used in my energy assessment report. We discussed the alterations, EEMs and remedial works with the client and Arkify produced proposed drawings. I wrote the Heritage Impact Statment and made the application for Listed Building Consent which was granted in 2023. I am now working on the Schedule of Works in collaboration with Arkify who are producing the technical drawings for Building Control.
