The client had limited mobility and was looking for a property which could be extended to provide a level access bedroom and wet room. We did a feasibility study for a potential purchase, and suggested it would be suitable if we could build off the boundary wall which retained about 2m earth on the other side. We detailed a drainage membrane and drain to keep the inside of this wall dry, and recommended an engineer who did the structural calculations for the wall and roof.
