ANARCHITECT was appointed by a design driven Developer Client Ellington Group as Design Architect to oversee the architectural vision and direction of the residential development for the Client. Addressing issues of durability, privacy and materiality, we created a building envelope that evokes a ‘Residential rhythm’ through bespoke detailing and material composition with minimal impact on the approved base structure. The facades are dynamic and create visual movement by way of architectural play with the push and pull of surface. The rhythm is achieved by breaking down the mass with vertical elements that allows one to easily associate the building with its function and for residents to identify their own apartment with pride. | Client: Ellington Group | Project Status: Completed 2017 | Area: 36,000sqm
