A new orangery and roadside terrace created a new public face for this traditional Wilmslow town centre pub. A new external facade treatment in terms of through colour render and new colour scheme to the joinery combined with the new extension completed the facelift. Internally the orangery provides a flexible all day dining space both for pub dining customers and hotel breakfasts. A fresh twist on the Victorian interior was created by lightening the old dark wood beams and panelling and introducing heavily textured stone wall facings. Traditional quality materials add to the atmosphere and give a longevity so that the interior can wear in rather than wear out!
