The full refurbishment and internal re-planning has been completed of an apartment in Earls Court, resulting in the creation of a combined living and dining space, as well as a new master suite. The flat was previously in a state of disrepair; however, the high ceilings and traditional proportions meant the property had huge potential. A large opening was introduced between the main entertaining rooms to create full width views onto the communal garden. The floor plan has also been carefully re-organised and made more efficient, preserving the natural light for the reception and bedrooms where it is most required. The architectural approach was to modernise the apartment whilst re-establishing the charms of the original building. The result is a stunning flat, exhibiting a balance of contemporary and traditional styles.
