About the practice

Alex D Architects Ltd is a Chartered Architectural Practice (RIBA and ARB UK, and OA Portugal) based in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, operating across the UK and Portugal. The practice works across residential, new build, small-scale development, and commercial sectors, with a strong track record in both contemporary and historic environments. Our work includes residential architecture such as new build homes, extensions, loft conversions, and the sensitive adaptation and refurbishment of existing buildings. We also undertake small to medium-scale residential developments, alongside commercial projects including retail units and mixed-use properties, where clarity of design, functionality, and commercial viability are essential.
