Kensington and Chelsea
A reductionist approach is adopted bringing clarity and simplicity to the extraordinary volumes of space that the 5-storey late Victorian white stucco house has to offer. Reorganization of the existing house relies on a series of structural and architectural interventions improving circulation and flow to extended floor plates with greater daylight. All elements of the house are remodeled with the exception of the first floor and central staircase where a conservationist approach restores the period features back to their sublime glory.
