Mixed use,Multi Cultural Community Centre including Artisan workshops,Enterprise centre for starter business,starter business offices,teaching kitchens,Bistro,conference centre with seminar rooms,banqueting room for 400,training rooms,nusery.Winner of LABC in 2012 and shortlisted for the Regional RICS awards 2012.Project was the winner of a local limited competition. Important setting on the western entry to the City and replacing an existing Fire Station.3 storey atrium on the axis of Wingrove Road is central to the design from which all elements of the projects are accessed.Steel frame construction clad in a mix of brickwork,render and glass.The introduction of coloured glass into the facade adds a hint of the multi cultural community.The building is heated with Biomass and has a "very good" Breeam rating.Officially opened by Duke of Kent in April 2012
