Fowberry Tower Country House Grade 2* originally built as a tower- house in C15, situated on the banks of the river Till near Chatton.Remodeled in 1666 by the Strothers.Sold to Sir Francis Blake in 1776 remodeled and substantially enlarged including delightful Strawberry Hill Gothic interiors some of the more important interiors following this style in the North of England.A new frontage was designed by James Nesbitt.Sold in 2010 to its present owner when the building was restored and the interior adjusted to accommodate new services and spaces for 21st living.Much of the important interiors were conserved and restored.
