The Client of this arts and crafts Edwardian house in Merton Park wished to extend to the side and rear. They also wished to change the first floor shower room to a bedroom with the adjacent wc room becoming the new bathroom. It was also the Client's desire to change the loft with re-design of second floor bathroom. The side extension was one of the first projects to take advantage of the new Prior Approval for extensions between 3 and 6m planning procedure. Planning was achieved along with building control agreement and the project finished on site in August 2014. The Client gained a new double extension, first floor bedroom, two new bathrooms and newly insulated loft for a modest budget.
