This client was a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, who had earlier hired then fired an unsuitable architect. He found our designs were bespoke and well co-ordinated with Planning and Building Control for this complicated extension and Mansard loft conversion. The client had just purchased the property and was hoping to move into the extended building as soon following the birth of their first child. The planning application was made very quickly, in a couple of weeks, immediately following consultation with the case officer at Merton. A building within 3m of a Thames Sewer application was submitted and a Building Control application submitted to Merton. Following their agreement to the proposals building work started immediately. The project was completed within six months. The client was pleased with the architectural service he received and provided a glowing written testimonial to RIBA Client Services.
