RMH Evelina is a new 59-bedroom House located close to Evelina London Children’s Hospital and provides accommodation to the families of seriously ill children being treated there. We were appointed to create a larger, more sustainable House for the charity close to the hospital. With the site lying within a conservation area and being located adjacent to Grade I listed Lambeth Palace, a considered design with features including local Charnwood brick and limestone detailing. The building is BREEAM Excellent, won a London Construction Award and was a finalist at the Civic Trust and the RICS Awards.
