Set within the beautiful Cap Vermell Estate in Mallorca, the five-hectare resort is the first Park Hyatt Resort in Europe, providing 142 guest rooms and 16 uniquely designed suites. Recreational facilities including swimming pools, a fitness centre, and a luxury spa. The design draws on the native landscape which reflects the style of traditional Mallorcan hillside villages and farmhouses. Right from the start, authenticity was a driving force behind AECOM’s approach to this unique project. Locally sourced Spanish stone was used to create low drystone walls reminiscent of ‘tanques’, the traditional agricultural terracing found in the region. AECOM helped to combine the built environment with the natural flora and vegetation on the island.
