A low budget project, designed to maximise the internal space within an existing one bedroomed house. The project commenced with the reorganisation of the existing plumbing services in an inaccessible attic space. This space was then converted into a sleeping mezzanine, located over an existing living room. Access from the living room was gained by means of a new space saver ladder, and gallery constructed in finished columbian pine. The project was completed by the incorporation of new floor finishes, lighting and electrical services.
