Residential units are accessed from shared access via a communal entrance. The staircase can be accessed from the side of Merryhill Close, or from the rear car park. All units are dual aspects providing ample daylight and outlook and have been carefully designed to provide high-quality accommodation. They offer good size open plan living/kitchen/ dining areas and bathrooms. The proposal seeks to build on positive aspects of the surrounding buildings and tie in new elements to create a distinctive and contemporary high-quality development. This is to be achieved using quality materials and careful architectural detailing. The scheme proposed a green roof in order to be energy efficient and environmentally friendly. For the roofing, the material is proposed to be Zinc or similar. Zinc roofing is 100%sustainable material & natural.
