The redevelopment of 61-81 Eastmoor Street will regenerate 0.592 hectares of Charlton Riverside, providing 188 new homes and 1,800m² of commercial space. The proposal includes two blocks, ranging from 6 to 9 storeys, connected by Penhall Gardens, a key green link. A new urban hub and public square will be created to foster community interaction. The design references Charlton’s industrial heritage with contemporary features. The development includes 35% affordable housing and varied unit types, from 1B to 3B apartments. It aims to create a sustainable, inclusive community, contributing to the broader Charlton Riverside regeneration plan.
