Our Tutts Clump renovation project provides our clients with an idyllic country retreat, a gem of a cottage set in beautiful countryside with wild flower meadows and wildlife ponds. The house was not always so attractive, starting life as a rather neglected and grotty gate house. We could see the charm beneath however and embarked on a program of extensions and refurbishments, carried out over a 4 year period. We have added a seamless extension, opened up interiors and exposed rafters to create vaulted ceilings in all the bedrooms. The interior ha been fully designed and specified, incorporating salvaged and vintage finds and resulting in a unique interior. Grounds have been landscaped including the planting of a wildflower meadow, creation of natural ponds and the installation of a glazed veranda and outdoor entertaining area.
