Franklands is a large period property dating from the 1930's, set in fantastic grounds. We completely renovated and refurbished the property inside and out, replacing some badly designed extensions and adding a cinema, subterranean gym and studio loft. A contemporary approach was taken to the refurbishment work. Spaces were opened up to create a fantastic kitchen, dining family space. A double height hallway was inserted with a huge portrait window, to add a sense of space and drama. Workshops and garages were converted to provide multi media rooms and a self contained annexe. An Espresso kitchen was installed and a full Lutron house control system. Externally the house has been renovated completely with new render and aluminium windows throughout. Phase II of the project saw the construction of a detached garage and leisure building with gym and studio space.
