Holmlea Road was a rather sorry property dating from the 1950's, in desperate need of interior and exterior renovation. The property united two families providing family spaces and 7 bedrooms to allow everyone to gather together. A large rear and side extension has provided additional accommodation with a big open plan kitchen, family dining room at the heart of the home. We rationalised the circulation in the property by dropping a lightwell through the building and creating a central landing area that provides very efficient circulation to all the bedrooms. A front extension, garage conversion and reconfigure dormer window create a vastly different front elevation to the property, adding much needed kerb appeal. The property has been completely renovated externally with Sto render, a new clay tile roof, oak porch and smart aluminium fascias and gutters. Internally a hand built kitchen was designed with a specialist and a full interior design service was provided including bathrooms and a new oak and glass staircase. Gardens have also been re-landscaped with outdoor seating areas and an acoustic landscape barrier to screen train noise.
