When a concert pianist retired to Farnham to be near her daughter, she knew that her late husband, an architect, would have wanted her to design something exciting for her new house. Together we walked around the potential purchase with the estate agent and immediately saw lots of potential. We suggested removing all the doors, many walls and re-connect the house back to the garden.We added a fully glazed extension to the rear with a picture window to frame the piano. The house was completely refurbished in a contemporary way and the result is a light and easy space to live in. Our client and her little dog can spend fun days in the garden or inside their light new home, looking out.
