A21 architects provided full architectural service developing this bespoke house design in close collaboration with the client. The house is located in Harpenden, Hertfordshire. The house features a huge double height open plan area combining play room, kitchen, grand piano, dining room, circulation & internal tree. This resulting building is a reimagining of the traditional English cottage. Strong formal brick elements give this home an understated but secure presence. This new house features a monolithic low pitched tiled roof with concealed gutter providing a stealth sharpness.
