The building’s fascinating historical past revealed Roman artifacts below the ground and 7th century Arab work within the building. The Palma City Archaeologist is recording both the Roman and Arab work while specialist restorers have been appointed to restore the 17th century painted ceilings revealed by the ongoing construction work The building’s sympathetic makeover will include 6 bedrooms, staff accommodation, new kitchen, dining room, breakfast room, media room, gym, and pool together with the usual ancillary accommodation and off-street parking.
