Cuba Street is part of a district of narrow streets on the Isle of Dogs, south of the Canary Wharf cluster. Historically residential, this district is now experiencing a major increase in density and height. Our proposal provides 448 high quality, affordable apartments in a pair of high rise buildings of 41 and 26 storeys, with a new south-facing pocket park planned as part of the development. The towers include 4 bed townhouses at ground level for larger families and a mix of studio, 1, 2 (50%) and 3 bed apartments. Despite the unusually high density of this small site, careful planning has also allowed us to include high quality public realm in the form or a pocket park that is nestled between the buildings, for use by residents and the local community alike.
