Currently on site, the clients tasked us to create a bold design to give their family home the ‘wow’ factor. Planning permission was been granted for a total remodel, extension and new basement, to transform a post war property in Wimbledon beyond recognition . The project involves replacing the ground floor garage with a new living space and adding a master bedroom above with floor-to-ceiling glazing and perforated metal. A wrap-around roof light will flood the communal areas with natural light. The rear will retain existing walls, but the loft roof pitch will be adjusted for a more appealing exterior. Key upgrades include replacing dark brick and UPVC windows with high performance materials, modern metal cladding, and a steeper roof pitch. Now on site, we are excited to see modern methods of construction like the new clt timber structure transform the existing house into a stunning family home.
